Works with the tools you already use
- ChatGPT
- Claude
- Gemini
- Grok
- Linear
- GitHub
- Stripe
- PostHog
- Amplitude
- Google Analytics
Issues stay in Linear, code in GitHub, and numbers in Stripe and your analytics. Preship reads them and puts each idea's prediction next to the real numbers. You can paste the brief into any AI, and developer tools that support MCP, such as Claude Code, can connect directly. You can also type numbers in by hand or read them from BigQuery or Google Sheets.

No one's left to stop you
When one feature took two weeks, the arguing happened before the building. An engineer would ask “do we really need this?”, and some ideas died at the estimate. Now you ask AI and it's done that day. Features that don't work get done that day too.

How it works
From first idea to measured result, in one connected flow
- 1
Ideas
Reads your numbers and suggests what to build next, with reasons. You can add your own too.
- 2
Predict
Runs 10,000 futures per idea and shows your chance of reaching a goal like "$36,000 a month in 12 weeks."
- 3
Rank
Orders ideas by chance and effort. Low-impact ideas go below the "Not now" line.
- 4
Deploy
Hands the brief to your team or AI. Preship reads PRs and deploys from GitHub, and never writes there.
- 5
Measure
Calculates the verdict date before you build, then puts the prediction next to the real numbers on that day.
Results are saved and feed the next ideas and predictions.
From the founder
I work as a contract CTO on several companies' products while building my own. I've spent about ¥1 million on ChatGPT, Claude, Cursor, and other AI tools over the past three and a half years. The code kept growing, but I didn't feel any closer to my goal. When I went back over 62 changes to my own product, not one clearly worked, and 56 couldn't even be judged. About 70% of those were because I hadn't measured anything before shipping. By then it's too late, so I'm building a tool that records it before you build.

Features will roll out one at a time, and what people sign up for shapes the order. Preship runs on the web and over MCP, and works in a mobile browser. You can predict and rank with your own numbers without signing up. Fees for ChatGPT, Claude, and other AI tools aren't included.
A good fit if
- You decide what gets built
- You run development in Linear or similar, and have analytics numbers
- You have to explain the reasoning behind your roadmap
Not a good fit if
- You don't have numbers yet
- You're looking for an issue tracker
- You already have an in-house experiment platform and a record of verdicts

Rank
Low-impact ideas go below the "Not now" line. You can change the order.
Must-do: protect payment keys and personal data, keep backups. These aren't ranked — do them first.
The chance combines the effects of the ideas above the line. Effort and time to verdict are estimates you can edit. Values in this demo are examples.

Why AI alone isn't enough
Ask AI and you get a different answer every time
Same idea, different prompt or model, different answer. That makes ideas impossible to compare, and when a prediction misses, you can't tell what to fix. Preship locks in the formula and assumptions. They change only when you edit them or when measured results come back.

Share of the variation in results caused by the AI model
AI can do a one-off calculation. Only people who keep going end up with a record.
Compare
It doesn't replace your tools. It sits on top of them.
Issue tracking stays in Linear, and analysis stays in your analytics tools. Preship keeps each idea's prediction and result in a record that can't be rewritten.

You make the call
Your AI stays on your account
We never hold your ChatGPT or Claude logins. Preship doesn't run your AI. It just gives you a brief to hand over.
Your team merges on GitHub
Preship never writes to GitHub, so it can't publish anything on its own. Stopping an idea is only a suggestion, and you can go ahead anyway.
Every assumption is visible
You get a chance and a range, along with every assumption behind them. If one looks wrong, fix it on the spot.
FAQ
Can it really predict the future?
No. Given your assumptions, it calculates the chance and range of reaching a goal like "$36,000 a month in 12 weeks." Every assumption is visible, so you can change any of them. After you deploy, it compares the prediction with real numbers and corrects the assumptions that missed.
When can I use it?
The calculator is free to use right now. The record features aren't ready yet. We'll email you when they are.
Does it replace Linear?
No. Issue tracking stays in Linear. Preship handles the decision about what to build.
How is it different from RICE?
RICE is a score for setting the order. Preship predicts with a probability and a range, then compares that with real numbers after you ship. Whether you were right stays on the record.
How is it different from product management tools?
Product management tools are good at collecting and organizing customer feedback. Preship handles predicting whether an idea will work and keeping the record of the result.
Can my team use it?
Yes. Pricing is per editor, and people who only read are free.
Can't I just ask ChatGPT or Claude to do this?
For a one-off calculation, yes. But the formula and assumptions shift with the prompt and model, which makes ideas hard to compare. Preship fixes the formula and assumptions, connects them to your real numbers, and only corrects them based on measured results. It also keeps a record of predictions and results, so comparisons get easier the longer you use it.
Can't I just change the numbers until I like the answer?
With numbers you type in by hand, yes. That's why Preship reads your real data, and treats the probability not as proof that something will sell, but as a way to see which assumptions drive the result.
If revenue rose after a deploy, did that feature cause it?
Not necessarily. Ads, seasonality, and other changes around the same time can move revenue too. With few users, you often can't tell. Preship shows the overlap and the date a verdict becomes possible. Measuring it properly takes a randomized experiment.
Can it use numbers from BigQuery or Google Sheets?
Yes. For Google Sheets, just share the sheet with view access. BigQuery is read with read-only access. Query costs are billed to your Google Cloud account, so Preship estimates the data scanned before each query and won't run anything over the cap you set.
Who decides an idea's impact range?
AI estimates it, and you can edit it. There's no guarantee it's right, and the range stays wide while there are few past results. We haven't been able to measure prediction accuracy yet. As measured results build up, the ranges fit your business better.
How do you handle defensive work like security?
We don't measure it with the same yardstick as growth ideas, because the shorter the time frame, the worse defensive work looks. Legal compliance, payments, and protecting secrets aren't ranked; they get done first. For everything else, the odds and cost of an incident go into the assumptions, and Preship shows at what odds the work is worth doing first.
What happens to the AI I use now?
You keep using it. Your team and AI do the building as usual, while Preship handles deciding what to build and measuring the impact. Any AI works by pasting the prompt. Developer tools that support MCP, such as Claude Code, can connect directly.
Do I need GitHub or Linear?
Neither is required, and you connect them separately. With GitHub connected, PR and deploy times are saved automatically. Without it, you log deploy times by hand. Connect Linear only if you want to turn ideas into issues.
Can I use it if I don't have revenue yet?
Yes. Instead of revenue, you can set a goal on an earlier number like signups. But with few numbers, most assumptions are guesses and the results get wide. If you have no visitor or signup numbers at all, we'd suggest finding your first users first.
How many features before I get a hit rate?
We don't show one while there are only a few verdicts.
Can I measure impact with few users?
Numbers with few people behind them, like signup rate, often can't be measured. With 3,000 visitors a week, confirming the gap between 0.4% and 0.5% takes about 9 months, split half and half. Preship calculates the verdict date up front and measures a number with more people behind it, like the share of new accounts that create a first invoice. If that's still not enough, it says "Too early to tell" and suggests asking users directly.
What data do you hold?
Aggregated revenue and traffic numbers (read from Stripe, Google Analytics, BigQuery, or Google Sheets), your goals, your history of ideas and verdicts, GitHub PR and deploy records, and Linear issue status if connected. Connection credentials such as your read-only Stripe key are stored encrypted, and you can delete them at any time. We never hold your AI logins, and we don't read the contents of your source code. The calculator you fill in by hand runs entirely in your browser, and your numbers never leave it.
